Random Thoughts

  • I gave Amapeli a make over. I wasn’t planning on putting this up anywhere near as fast as I did, but once I had the header, the theme took no time to come together. This is my favourite layout to date.
  • Saving money is a pain in the ass. There’s always things on sale at my favourite stores, there’s always a show, a movie, a dinner date my friends offer, some where to go, some place to see, etc. Can’t I just win the freakin’ lottery and be done with it?!
  • I have Yoga on the brain. I’ve been really thinking about joining a class. My gym offers a bunch of classes with membership, and the yoga class on Wednesday nights starts around the time I’m finished my work out. It looks like a nice relaxing cool down. When they start the Spring rotation, I think I’ll join them.

  • I can’t remember the last time I wasn’t tired. I wake up about 6:30AM, I work 8:30-5, I go to the gym until 6:30-7, I get home 7:30-8, I make dinner, I eat, I get my things ready for the next day (clothes, gym bag, lunch). Maybe I’ll see my boyfriend or my friends and even if I get to bed at a decent time, I’m still dog tired.
  • Speaking of tired, Friday night is my favourite sleep. I pass the eff out and dont wake up til Saturday afternoon. Sometimes 12 or 1, this Saturday, I woke up at 4. Holy crap. Still felt a bit tired. There really just aren’t enough hours in the day.
  • The opening ceremony for the Vancouver 2010 Olympics is 2 days away. I’m just going to come right out with it, since the secret is out and the rest of the world is already talking about it. There’s no snow here. What we’re actually doing is hosting the SPRING OLYMPICS, just thought I’d let ya’ll know. WTF is going on?! Everywhere in the USA is  covered in copious amounts of snow. AFGANISTAN GOT SNOW FOR CHRIST’S SAKE. Funny story, actually. When was the last time we had snow here this time of year, I mean, really? Vancouver winter is 2 short snow falls and some rain. At the very least, we can finally squash the rumors that us Canadians are up here ice fishing and dog sleding in our igloos coating everything with Maple Syrup.  This is just embarassing.

I always love the style of your posts!

I agree with most of what you just said. I am always tired, cannot save money for my life, and have really been giving Yoga a lot of thought lately as well. I have never done it though. You work out a lot though, wayyy more than I do, so I bet you’d have a blast with it!

Love the new look! I need to do something with mine lol

Have fun at the olympics! Yeah it seems things always come up that make me spend money so its soooo hard to save. I love the new layout, I <3 simplicity and trees haha.

I really like this layout, it looks great! :)

You should definitely do yoga classes! :) I love yoga, it’s so relaxing and nice to do.

    I’m the same, I can’t remember when I wasn’t tired, haha. I’m just not a good sleeper, I guess.

Yes, yes, yes! I love this layout ;) I’m probably biased, because pink and gray are my favorite colors (esp. together).

Yoga is a definite thing on my brain as well. I just really want to become more flexible and fit. I also like the calm that comes with Yoga.

I remember talking to you about being tired ALL THE TIME. Honey, like I said before, I totally feel you. I have zero passion in my life anymore, because I’m drained.

    Saving money = DIFFICULT!

    Good luck, love <3

Yoga has been on my brain a long time but I can’t really afford a class so I have been doing as much research online and in books as much as possible. Would love to take a class or two though.
